COMPETITIVE TRYOUT PROCESS
Players interested in joining the CISA competitive program will participate in a two-day tryout session. During this process, CISA coaches assess players to form groups based on their abilities, skills, and knowledge of the game. These tryouts also help the club evaluate the entire age group and plan for staffing requirements in the upcoming season. Participants are assigned a number during registration. As athletes progress through training, our staff assess their soccer performance based on various components.
Technical Ability - Skill proficiency
Technical Speed - Ability to execute skill at top speed
Tactical Application - Understanding of time and space, movement with and without the ball, field vision, ability to combine with other players, speed of thought, etc.
Physical Attributes - Speed, strength on the ball (tackling & shielding ball)
Psychological Dimensions - Competitiveness, work ethic, interaction with teammates, coach ability.
Selection process
CISA coaching staff will assess players to establish their playing level, whether it's Competitive or Travel Level. Following the evaluation, an email will be sent to parents/guardians containing player placement details along with an invitation to join a team. Parents must respond to the offer within 72 hours of receiving it. Additionally, parents are expected to confirm acceptance, settle the registration fees, and only then will the placement be confirmed.
